No, not real ones, I'm fine. Dream gunshots.

I don't know how I got in the situation, but I know that I was in a warehouse with Wolverine. Hugh Jackman sexy version. He was saving me from something, some organization or something. He handed me this gun, which I think shot those Nerf balls, you know, the 2inch foam rubber ones that don’t fly very well? Yeah. I had a machine gun that shot those, only it could kill people like real bullets. So, we were running from this big group of people, shooting behind us and in front of us, cause they surrounded us. More people on our side joined us, and they had Mavericks, the cool looking Nerf guns, only they shot real bullets. Oh, and someone had a 9mm Glock, but I think that was a bad guy, cause I ended up with it somehow. So, we're running down this staircase, and Wolverine, this large black lady and someone else (Cyclops? Idk, I saw blue) were holding most of them off, but a few slipped past and were going to get me. I tried to shoot my machine gun at them, but I was out of ammo, and yelled that up to Wolverine. He told me to grab a Maverick off a dead guy, but we hadn't killed anyone down here yet, and my 9mm was out of ammo too. So I'm up against three people, and I'm know I'm about to die, but then one of the guys shoots another guy and then takes his gun, and hands me both guns (His and the now dead guy's). I look at him and it's The Doctor (The newest one, 11 I think). I shoot the other guy. Then The Doctor looks at me and says "You have to do it, they can't know I'm on your side." So I aim the gun at The Doctor's head and say "Thank you, Doctor. I love you." He smirks as I set the gun against his temple and pull the trigger. As I shot him, I got a "flashback" for lack of a better word. See, he just looked like The Doctor. He wasn't Dr. Who, he was just our field medic, who we called Doc, but I guess I didn't think young cute guy should be called Doc, cause that's an old person name, so I called him Doctor. So I didn't kill The Doctor, I just killed our doctor. While I was having the flashback, I may have gotten shot in the shoulder.

Cause that’s when I woke up.
Sherihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13077262311028014107noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1525463578847175371.post-4218261998885120582011-06-01T00:13:00.000-07:002011-06-01T00:13:41.593-07:00Gamer Challenge Day 1
Day 01 - The first game that got you hooked on gaming
That would be this game here; Super Smash Bros.
Followed up Quickly by it's sequel; Smash Bros Melee.

And then it's latest addition, Smash Bros Brawl.

I have fond memories of going to my friend Taka-chan's house when I was 10 and she was 8, and playing Super Smash Bros. We tended to play as Pikachu, Jigglypuff or Kirby, the only characters we really knew, and would sometimes branch out into Mario or Link just for fun.

Later on, with my friend Neko, we discovered the joys of Super Smash Bros Melee, where Peach could throw turnips, Pikachu and Jigglypuff now had backup in the form of Pichu and Mewtwo, and Marth, Roy Link and Young Link were the cutest characters in the game. I was 13 at the time. Neko and I drifted apart as the years passed, but Super Smash Bros Melee was always the party game of choice. It was also one of the first games I bought when I got my own GameCube at the age of 19.

Once I got my own copy, I then did my best to unlock all the characters in the game, and in doing so I found a few things. The Ice Climbers are my favorite Character. Roy and Marth will always hold a special place in my heart as the heart-throbs of the game. Bowser is a powerhouse that's fun to play and annoys people who are used to people with patterns, i.e. Play Pikachu. While I am still good at Pikachu, and thus, Pichu, they are rather annoying, about as annoying as Captain Falcon. Peach is only good when dressed as Daisy. Luigi will never be as good as Mario. Dr. Mario, on the other hand, shouldn't exist. Finally; I can't play more than an hour to three before I get bored by myself.

Smash Bros Brawl came out in 2008, so about three years ago now. I only got a wii about 6 months ago, but this is on my "Buy as soon as the price goes down" list. I love this game. Nate had a copy while Chad was at school, so I got to play about once a week or so. I can't say too much more, since I never actually played it, but I enjoyed what I did play. I will say, Not happy with Toon Link or Lucas, but I love the Pokemon Trainer and Pit. SOO much love for Pit. <3 He replaced Roy, which was sad, cause Roy was always cooler than Marth, but what can you do? I'm glad the Ice Climbers are back, cause like I said, I love playing them. Nana and Popo are the sweetest character set ever. I'm intrigued by Sonic and Wario is much much much better than Dr. Mario.

So yes. The game that really started it all was (and still is) a game I rarely get to play. Funny, huh?
Sherihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13077262311028014107noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1525463578847175371.post-63949988211369540652011-05-24T01:11:00.000-07:002011-05-24T01:11:54.662-07:00N3rd GrrlLong time, no post. I know. I wish I could say I was busy, but that's not completely true. It's more truthful to say that nothing exciting goes on too much these days.

However, I feel the need to rant a bit about geeky stuff, so you, my faithful readers, shall just have to put up with it.

Lately I've been looking at my 'Geek Card' lately and thinking "I should make sure this doesn't get taken away". For those who don't know, a 'Geek Card', or 'Nerd Card' is like a 'Man Card', if you do something un-nerdy or don't recognize something classically geeky/nerdy. I can usually get away from geek confrontations easily, as I am female and thus have a gold Geek Card from the start. However, there are times when I just look clueless and everyone just smiles and pats my head and says "It's ok, you're a girl."

So, I've decided to work on expanding my nerd horizons. Current mission; Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Now, I've played parts of this game in the past. However, my mother was anti-game system as I was growing up, and N64 emulators never worked quite right. So I only got to play at friend's houses, which means few opportunity's to beat games. That, and the friend that had all the cool games got really...upset when someone either a) beat their score, b) looked to do better than them, c) took to long to solve a puzzle, or d) would get bored quickly and want to do something else. This does not make a very productive gaming environment, not to mention they had a split family, so half the time I didn't even have the right save file to work from.

For my 18th birthday, Chad got me my first gameboy (and SP Advance) and later got me a DS for Valentines day. This allowed me to acquire the Pokemon games I've always been fond of. I admit, it's a weakness of mine, but I really enjoy the complex simplicity of the Pokemon games. But thats not what we were talking about.

Chad's sophomore year, his roommate was selling his old GameCube for $20. I had to. There was no other choice. I think I bought a few games off him as well, and then hit the used games section of Gamestop for some more oldies-but-goodies. These were the games of my youth, and it was time to play them. I started with Super Smash Bros Melee, one of my all-time favorites. I played the original Smash Bros on my best friends N64, and Melee was always a game I could get my other friend to play with me at her house. Soul Caliber II was another favorite. I love fighting games, but sadly I'm horrible at them. I can't remember combos, I'm not fast with the controls, and I tend to get favorite characters due to looks and one move rather than power. Batman: Vengeance was a gift from Chad, as it has Harley Quinn as a main villain, another weakness of mine. Harvest Moon was bought for Chad, as was Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicals. Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness was gifted to me for Valentines day this year. But the cream of the crop for finds was the Zelda collection, with the original two, Legend of Zelda and Link to the past, and the two N64 games we all know and love, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

I've attempted playing all of the above at various times since I got the games three years ago, but school and work tend to get in the way. But, when Chad needed the computer and all my chores were done for the day (My poor laptop died, I'll complain later) I decided to give Zelda another try.

I think I'm halfway though the game at this point. I've done all of the Young Link spiritual stones quests, and have two of the sages. I'm at the fire temple now for the third sage.

Thus far, it's been as enjoyable and as frustrating as I remember it.

Frustrating things:
- Controls. Really Nintendo? You couldn't make it easy for Link to look where you point him, could you? And why, when I want to jump somewhere I know I can, you always tend to point me just enough off course that I miss the platform? But when I can't get there yet, you make it look like I can?

- Navi. Everyone hates her. I used to think she was kinda funny but only useful for L-targeting. I now know better. She can only target things directly in your line of sight, unless of course you've found something shiny you cant reach yet. Also, she's gotten me killed a few times by pausing the game to tell me something I noticed on my own. Yes, Navi, the room is twisted. Did you have to tell me that as a flaming flying skull attacks me?

- Timing. Again, Really Nintendo? Would it kill you to add ONE MORE SECOND to the end of all your timing things? I mean, I was almost up the ladder when you burned it down!

- Female Characters with Breasts. Ok, now, remembering this is the era of really bad 3D, and the faces on every character thus far have been really bad; did you have to give the "attractive fairies and desert people" huge chests? Cause it makes them look pointy and Madonna-esque. If that's what you were going for, great. If not, well, you failed. the Fairy Queens that I'm supposed to "feel free to come get healing anytime" scare me, so I'll just buy bottled fairies thanks.

- Un-necessary money cap. There is an item in the game that lets you hold 500 Ruppies. So why don't you just let me do that from the start? This 99, and then 200 cap is bogus and annoying. The only thing I spend money on is bets, games, and the occasional "Shit, I'm out of Arrows and Bombs and theres no way I can beat this level without them, so lets teleport to town and pick some up for too much money".

Enjoyable things:
- Complex but not mind-numbing puzzles. Nuff said.

- Spells. They're nice. I'm sure they'll be cooler later on.

- Ocarina music. There is a song for everything. Which means the soundtrack is nice.

- Cute elf main character to stare at while trying to hit monsters with said character's sword. I blame this on a home-schooled childhood crush on a video game character. Link's cute for a main character. Better than Mario, that's for sure.

I think that's enough for tonight. Besides, I have a game to beat.

Peace. Only, Not. (I will clip a corner off your Nerd Card if you don't get that joke.)Sherihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13077262311028014107noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1525463578847175371.post-15064574809093686182011-02-04T10:02:00.000-08:002011-02-04T10:02:36.373-08:00Hello againHey kids. How's it hanging?

Day 4 of my story blog is complete. You can find it Here. Candi's story is getting to the fun part.

So, question for you all (mainly to see if anyone reads this anymore), Can you name a large (weight wise) hero/heroine? Only ones I can think of are Milicent (Hocus Pocus), Ursula (Little Mermaid, and she's the villain), and the kid in Up. Oh, Gertrude in the comic 'Runaways'. She's a bit larger.

So ya. Name your fat heroes!Sherihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13077262311028014107noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1525463578847175371.post-77230031550877739712011-02-01T19:49:00.000-08:002011-02-01T19:49:08.414-08:00Long time, no seeHey all. Not sure if you're still following me or not. lol.

So I started a daily writing blog, just to get back in the swing of things. I challenged my sister, so I have to win. You can find my writings here: http://imbetterthanyouineveryway.blogspot.com/

Just random writings really.

Have fun.Sherihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13077262311028014107noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1525463578847175371.post-68733725952239429002010-11-18T21:16:00.000-08:002010-11-18T21:16:12.288-08:00VotedI've been outvoted. Looks like we're staying and I've wasted a week.Sherihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13077262311028014107noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1525463578847175371.post-12133002200403772922010-11-18T20:21:00.000-08:002010-11-18T20:21:36.645-08:00Crazy, but that's how it goes.

Just going to start this post by saying that it's freaking cold in here. The hole in the wall is still not fixed, not looking like it'll get fixed for another month.

Did you hear it's gonna be 20f next week? (Though, that was just on the radio, the internet says 40's.) Yes, that's right. Below freezing.

Anyway. We found two apartments we like, and more or less chose one. It's a three bedroom, so I can have my business out of the home, and it's got an indoor pool. The only thing we didn't like about it was the pet policy. Oh, did I mention the indoor pool is less than 10ft away from the back door of the place we'd be getting? (Did I also mention that working out at a gym sucks for me and swimming is so much more healthy?)

We can sign the papers tomorrow, Move the bed and stuff in on Saturday (If my dear friend with a truck is free), and then Chad can go to work Monday thru Friday and I'll see if my dear friend (and her truck) are free all week to help me move boxes and such. (Dear Friend, I will pay you in tea, and booze, and pizza, and home cooked non-vegan food, and lots and lots of love. <3 )
But Chad's being slow to decide. He's thinking we should wait a month, move in in January. But he wants out of this apartment. But he hates rushing, esp with all our finances. We can afford it easy.(Well, not easy, but still)

But here's my thought:

What do we lose by not buying now? "THE F*CKING SALE" "MY F*CKING MIND" are the two answers that come to mind.

I spent all of my time the last week looking up apartments in the area. I am the one that did all the homework, called all the places, got the headaches. I am the one that has to give up business growth in order to further personal and family growth.

But I see that staying until we hear from Nvidia might not be too bad. Other than the hole in the wall. And the crappy landlord.

Also, Why is it that my mother-in-law has to doubt everything I research? In other news, lately my mother-in-law's voice has been giving me headaches. Not sure why...

Anyway

That's my problems for the day.

Later.Sherihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13077262311028014107noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1525463578847175371.post-61067287849752100732010-11-16T21:53:00.000-08:002010-11-16T21:53:51.342-08:00Rock shows, Homeless people, and apartment huntingHey all. I know, it's been a while. Again.

So, I just want to say that I went to Lauren's (lalalalauren) solo show tonight, and it rocked. Yes, I'm a groupie, so I'm bias, but still, I felt it was a great show and a wonderful start to a solo career. I filmed 90% of it on her camera, so keep your eyes on her blog the next few days and you should see some awesome songs.

After the show, we were standing outside saying goodbye -We didn't know there was a cover to see the band Lauren opened for, and we didn't have any cash on us. I felt kinda bad, cause we bailed on the other band, but they didn't exactly advertise. I mean, if we had to buy $3-5 worth of drinks at the bar, that would be one thing, but still. - Anyway, we were outside and this really loud black (Yes, racist. I know. But my Uncles are black, so lay off me.) gentleman comes across the street toward us. The closer he got, the more I could smell booze, and smoke. He starts to walk past us, with a cheerful 'Hello', so I'm like, ok, this is just a harmless bum, lets move along. But then he turns and starts talking. And talking, and talking and talking. Chad is grinning, Lauren is all freaking out (you were, don't lie.), and Ryan has his "you're a freak but I pity you so here's a fake smile." look on his face. So the guy, who called himself 'Floyd', was pretty much picking on Ryan, since Ryan kept edging away from him. Lauren's trying to get back inside and bring Ryan with her, but then Floyd steps up toward Lauren, who takes three steps back.

Which causes Floyd to start in on Lauren. Go figure. But we get Lauren and Ryan inside. And then what does my Husband do?

He talks to the guy. And they talk and talk and talk and talk.

Finally we get away, but it was interesting to hear the drunk guy talk. Pretty intelligent, but he rambled like no other.

In other news, We're apartment shopping again. The hole in our wall is still there. They just got the insurance lady out to look at it, so hopefully they'll fix it soon. We're still going to move though. 1 bedroom just is not enough space for all our stuff.

So, we're looking at 2 bedrooms. Or 3 bedrooms, if I want to do massage out of our home. Which isn't a bad idea, I just don't foresee getting too many new clients that way. Would save a lot on gas and time though.

Oh, we got a car, for those following that aren't facebook friends. (Which is no one) 05 PT Cruiser.

So yes, busy with apartment shopping and trying to clean the current apartment.

I'll try and post sometime within the next few days. I have a few rants ready to be posted.

Later y'all.

Love ya.Sherihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13077262311028014107noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1525463578847175371.post-10617791132927979392010-11-04T09:17:00.000-07:002010-11-04T09:17:12.524-07:00Wow, it's been a while.Hello my freaky darlings!

Ya, It's been a while. Sorry about that.

So, I'm trying this new program/web-thing called "Write or Die", which is supposed to prompt you to write using flashing red backgrounds and annoying music. The only problem? The first piece of music was "Banana phone", and I got distracted from the distraction while dancing...So far, the only song has been Banana phone....*sigh*

So, life. Ya, it goes. Took our van into the shop yesterday. The Head gasket, as well as everything else, is busted. Power steering, Transmission pan and cover, and a few other things as well. So, this weekend we get to go car shopping. <sarcasm> Yay. </sarcasm> So I get to pull everything out of the van into the living room. I'll keep you updated. Or I'll try.

Oh ya, and a car ran into our apartment last week. There's a nice hole in the wall now, so that part of the living/dining room can't be used right now, in case someone wants to come look at it. So, my messy living room is getting all the crap from the van piled onto it. Joy. My apartment looks like crap...

What else? Hum...Oh, the business is up and running. It's the shaky run of a newborn horse, but it's still a run. I've got enough to make rent, and that's what matters.

Screen's starting to turn pink again...hum...what to write...

Banana Phone...

Ya, ok, turned it off. I'm done for now. I'll try again tomorrow.Sherihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13077262311028014107noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1525463578847175371.post-4747681063392877702010-09-08T20:10:00.000-07:002010-09-08T20:10:28.760-07:00Le Random
Ok, Lets start with this awesome corset.

This is my other favorite, and I can think of more uses for it too, but it's not my red and black motif...Though it'd look awesome with a red dress... I might even see if she could add a hood to it for even more use. The sleeves are detachable for summer wear. It's $280 as it is now.

Ok, moving right along.

I know haven't posted in a few days. Sorry, not too much has been going on. Been working mornings at the deli.
Oh, deli drama. It's just as bad as pool drama. So-and-so, hates so-and-so, who won't work with so-and-so. Then people get upset and just grumble and gossip.
The lo-down is as such. One's prego, so she's all over the place mood-wise. I was suppose to be the boss to day, but I had no idea what was going on. During the lunch hours we were overstaffed, but starting at two we had more than enough staff. Cheese wouldn't come help, and the cook kept vanishing. Oh, and the word on the cook is that he comes in high, but there's no proof so shush. The main worker today always seems like a nervous breakdown waiting to happen.

So ya, if I was any better at writing screen plays I'd be making a sitcom. I might just jot down some notes and hand them off to people and say 'Have fun!'. Not sure yet. The idea for my cafe sitcom is still floating around in my head, and they might start breeding if I leave them both there for a while.

So, we bought our own internet today. >.< Ya, I know. Paying for internet...Sucks, but what can you do. It's commitment free, but the instillation is broken into 3 months. So the way I see it, I'm paying (Yes, I'm paying. It's Chad's birthday present) $100 a month for the next 3 months, then we'll get into a contract after that if we're still here.

In other news, Dog sitting is going well. This might mean I get a puppy sooner than Chad expected. Mwahaha.
Maybe. We'll see.

Finally used my Victoria's Secret gift card I got for my bridal shower. Ya, that was back in May, but whatever. I got some nice lotions that Chad liked the scent of.

Ok, babbling's gotten stupid, so I'm out of here.
Peace.Sherihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13077262311028014107noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1525463578847175371.post-19287715265897315952010-09-05T12:06:00.000-07:002010-09-05T12:06:17.239-07:00Dog sittingToday is the first day of Dog Sitting Genny - Chad's dog from childhood. So far, so good. We're hopping she doesn't revert to her puppy-like behavior of tearing stuff up when we have to go back to work.

Work yesterday was alright. Very long day. 9 hours at Freddys kinda wears you down. In the last two hours I managed to get soaked with a hose, and get my pants splashed with grease. Fun times.

Hum. What to babble about today...Not sure. Kinda gonna spend a lazy day today. Just got to get Genny to Petco for a nail trim by 6:30.

I'll post more if I think of anything.Sherihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13077262311028014107noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1525463578847175371.post-40728276934005025282010-09-04T08:42:00.000-07:002010-09-04T08:42:48.989-07:00They like me, they really like me!Just to start out: Wow. Just wow. You guys rock. I'll give the blog an honest try then. ^^

Hum, writers block again. Well, last time I just babbled, so we'll try that again.

Had a awesome night last night. Picked Chad up from work, took him out to a nice dinner (Should have saved it for next week for his birthday, but whatever), and we went food shopping. I don't know if you have ever gone shopping with a half-asleep man, but it's pretty much like shopping alone with the help of a voice that answers "I don't know." to any question of "Should we get this?". lol. Enjoyable none-the-less. After all, it could be worse. I would hate to let the DnD group loose in Winco. Safeway was bad enough.

For those that have never shopped late at night with the DnD group - Lucky you. lol. N re-organizes shelves, and the two JB's try to re-re-organize. N realizes, and then starts throwing random objects into the next isle. D & Chad just try and help but end up running around grabbing what we need.
Poor Safeway.

Was I on a topic? Oh ya! Last night! Ok, so we get home and we get a text from TK! Taka-chan wants to hang out. So we talk it over; romantic just the two of us night, or fun movie night with the TK. TK won out - Romantic evenings don't lead well to Chad finishing a character for his DnD group (that I have to work through *pout*) getting done. So Chad goes out to get TK. We watched Animal House and had a great cuddle pile. ^^ Happiness. More people should have picked up their phones to join us. *poke poke*

So ya, last night was great. J-man came over this morning and the three of them headed out. They're taking TK home and then the boys are off to a DnD game. I've got work, but I'm glad they get to play.

Work sucks, but what's new? I cut lunch meat for Freddy's, so it's not exactly glamorous. Just need a bit more start-up cash to start the massage biz and then I'm out. I should just look for a job working for a spa for now, but I don't want to kill my hands before I start. As it is, they've been locking up more lately. I think it means I'm overdue for a massage myself. Should go to my main guy and have him pop my carpal tunnel back into place.

Hum...at the weird writers block thing again. Guess that means it's time to go. Later y'all.Sherihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13077262311028014107noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1525463578847175371.post-60999272785166656432010-09-03T14:13:00.000-07:002010-09-03T14:17:29.131-07:00First postSo, I've been getting the strange urge lately to do a blog. Not sure what about, but we'll give this a try.

So...What am I suppose to put here? I have a friend who just randomly types on a topic. I have another who's blogs are thought provoking. Not sure which I'm going for.

I guess this is just a way to get me back into writing again. I kinda gave it up to go to Massage school. Now picking it back up is hard. Running Role-playing games isn't quite the same, as you have a bunch of other people helping run the story, you just need a plot. Controlling the whole world is a bit more difficult.
I've also noticed that my characters got a bit overpowered and/or 'Mary-Sue'-ish over the years. Too perfect, too powerful, too much of a main character that you hate. I'm trying to fix this. This means that I might end up posting random story ideas/character bios/drabbles (a story less than 500 words) on here. I might start a livejournal for that though. Seems that's what all the noob writers these days are doing.

Oh! Is it just me, or does this background look like stylized blood? No, just me? Oh well, I like it, even if it is pink...

Ok, I guess I'm babbling. Not sure if that means I should get off or what.

If anyone is reading this...I don't know why you are. You must really like me...Sherihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13077262311028014107noreply@blogger.com2
